July 1, 2023 is the 156th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Canada.

Various festivals and celebrations are held to celebrate this day.

Don't miss out on fun activities across the province over the Canada Day long weekend. Events abound, from fireworks festivals to outdoor activities.

It is on July 1st every year. It was designated as a public holiday to commemorate July 1, 1867, when Canada began self-government as a commonwealth.
